I think every fan is entitled to their opinion and how people root for their team varies from person to person. In saying that, I also believe it's entirely to early to say this summer has been disappointing. We are quite literally THREE DAYS into summer lol. More moves can, and will happen. And let's say they don't for whatever reason....the Rangers window has shut a bit? Who did you want them to sign that would've kept that window open? Should fans be excited about our #1 OA pick budding into stardom before our eyes? Are we allowed to be excited about another year of Fox, who by the way is still only 26 (!!). Can we hope for steps forward from the likes of Schneider, Miller, Cuylle, Jones, and Othmann?

Can they still improve the team? I sure think so. Trade is possible, they can buyout Trouba when the window opens and sign a guy like Tank (as Jan mentioned). I am willing to see what this team looks like on opening night before I act on impulse and say it's a wasted season

And to anyone who thinks we won't make the playoffs.....I would love to take that bet. We can both give our money to pickle to hold for the season and give to the winner

Majority of trades and FAs are 95% done. Most of the work will have to be done at the tdl. I think they absolutely make the PO. They just aren’t closer to being a true contender. And as of now Drury has his hands tied. I would call it a failure so far bc they seem like they are running it back. Not moving kakko or handling trouba better crippled them. They need to improve 5v5 but really haven’t. Individuals players will be fun to watch for sure. As a team skeptical bc Drury doesn’t instill much confidence now.

I don't know man. As you know I'm a world class hater, but the sentiment of all of this mess has grown way beyond my dumbass brain.

But here is a fan who is good follow, level headed and even he's questioning this. It's not a good time.

Listen, am i thrilled with Drury right now? No. But again....I'm willing to wait it out to see what happens.

We will have tons of cap space to add at the TDL to address whatever deficiencies we have. We will also have a clearer understanding of those needs being that half the season will be played

Historically most action is done early July.

My original point was so far the offseason is disappointing.

This is on drury. He got schooled by Trouba and now the rangers are going to have to wait it out. Another prime year for NYR veterans wasted by bad front office management. Nothing new.

What a failure of a trade deadline and a failure of an offseason. Sure just hope and pray that what you need is readily available at the NEXT deadline and that you’ll accrue enough cap space to obtain anyone of substance while you operate with minimal trade assets. Unreal smh

Rangers stuck in a spot trying to not handcuff themselves and improve. I just think it’s clear who the true contenders are. Rangers slightly below. Drury just hasn’t instilled much confidence at tdls recently
