95% of trades are finished? You have a crystal ball and know that as fact? Can you tell me what tomorrows winning lottery numbers will be? (not trying to be a douche...just a little joke)

Drurys hands are tied? Sooooo he can't buy out Trouba? Which would free up 4M this year. He can't trade Kakko to free up more space? Are there not wingers available to sign like Tarasenko?

Listen, am i thrilled with Drury right now? No. But again....I'm willing to wait it out to see what happens.

And like I said in my previous post. Even if he sits on his hands and does nothing. Is that really the worst thing right now? We will have tons of cap space to add at the TDL to address whatever deficiencies we have. We will also have a clearer understanding of those needs being that half the season will be played

Well considering they had the best season in Rangers history last year, I think it's a safe bet to say they won't do better than that in the regular season. But who knows maybe they will if guys like Laf, Schneider, Miller, Kakko, Othmann, and others take a step forward. It's to early to determine that. Also a deep playoff run I am sure helped the young guys who just experienced it for the first time

Sure, most trades are done in early July. Doesn't mean shit about our current situation and whether Trouba will be traded or not. You also keep missing the part where I said they can still buy him out, save $4M this year, and do other things like sign a winger or bring on another D man. Does that make them better in your opinion?

Maybe the first three days of the offseason has been disappointing. But it's to early to determine if the offseason, as a whole, is a disappointment. Give it a little more time

Rangers stuck in a spot trying to not handcuff themselves and improve. I just think it’s clear who the true contenders are. Rangers slightly below. Drury just hasn’t instilled much confidence at tdls recently

I haven’t been keeping tabs really on the prospects but from what I read, Othmann had a fairly unimpressive season. More than half of his points came on the PP and he was not noticeable for the most part at even strength.

Berard was the prospect down there that is more ready and drove even strength play.

Hopefully, a large part of that was Othmann making the switch from LW to RW. It's a small thing, but adjusting to positioning, back-hand use, etc. could be enough to just fall off in terms of production. This season will tell for sure.
