look at Briebois' moves the past few yrs and then compare to Briere's now tell me who is doing a better job. That Tampa team is hanging on my a thread these days overpaying and then liquidating - rinse repeat

How can they be this bad at this? They are “ rebuilding” yet are so far away all one can do is laugh. Take MM out of the equation and prospect poll is in the bottom 3rd easily.

I think MM will make things more entertaining for sure, but the team as a whole doesn’t appear to be better. They still don’t have any reliable or centers, too many wingers, the same unproven goalies, and a suspect defense with nothing new to add to an abysmal PP. even if they are slightly better than last year, it seems all the other teams have gotten better so the Flyers should have a really good chance at picks 1-5.

To me, Pavel Buchnevich's contract solidifies what TK should make in his next deal. Same production, roughly same age when contract begins, thus 6 x $8M is what TK should get. He can want more, but bottom line, the Flyers should not go further than this for TK.

Now that the free agent frenzy is dead it will allow teams to look at their rosters and see what they still want to upgrade. I can see trade avenues. Lot of playoff teams looking for bottom 6 where I could see Laughton. Maybe you get a 2nd and prospect if you take a contract back? They just need to be creative.

The "trophy" that the Flyers get is that as a whole, the gullible fan base buys into the rhetoric they spew. Culture and all the buzzwords they throw around is the invisible product that they market and sell. Until the fan base as a whole, wises up. Things may never truly change.

Weren't the Flyers on pace to finish 9th worst before winning those last 2 games this year? I wonder what the Flyers draft would've looked like if they hadn't.

You can't be serious with this, right? Right??? 'Currently listed as AHL' it's the (frank)ing offseason. The total number of NHL games played by those Canes prospects you listed is still more NHL games than the Flyers prospects (or former) you listed. Can you do me a favor and list each one's draft year and pick number? Thanks.

First, why do you consider yourself a gullible fan? Are you a fan who buys into the rhetoric the team spews and believes that the team is on the right path and has the right approach to building a contending team? Only you can look inside yourself and determine if you need to change your behavior. That's a personal choice.

I personally believe that only a message sent to the organization that the fan base is unhappy with their approach and philosophies will change how they operate. That happening is a pipe dream unfortunately.
