First, why do you consider yourself a gullible fan? Are you a fan who buys into the rhetoric the team spews and believes that the team is on the right path and has the right approach to building a contending team? Usually articles on this site aren’t that good but this one resonates. There’s different routes GMDB could go, but almost everyone agrees that Michkov needs a center. The most talented young center right now is Frost who is in and out of Torts doghouse all the time. It’s not like the Flyers have nothing to deal with as they have several wingers. The main term in the article is “insulate” and frankly the Flyers need to set this phenom up for success and confidence. But like I said earlier today, it’s the same team as before and the mantra seems to be “wait til next years draft” and then the reality is “and a couple years later these picks will finally play in the NHL”.

Where is the plan? Where are the chess pieces being moved?

Are the Flyers that complacent or is there really no one that will deal with them?

Everyone has different tastes, but my taste palate has never failed me. I got a full ride to Johnson & Wales when I was young, and as you know from your notes I chose computer science over food, but one of my biggest strengths have always been attune to spotting flavors and texture.

Homer did a really good job. He took over the worst team in the league. Of course. they lost the lottery in a draft that one franchise altering prospect. He still built a team that made it to the Finals. Thing unraveled badly after the Pronger career ending injury.

Holmgren was a good GM when there was no salary cap. Unfortunately, he was unable to adapt with the cap and really has been part of the problem with how the team operates and it's unwillingness and or inability to adapt to the modern day NHL

Sabres beat reporter today on radio when asked if Sabres done or maybe still have moves to make replied gm Adams said that he was still talking to teams about a few players that had been discussed a lot and he was surprised not more talks because those players are still with teams and haven’t been traded or signed.


Well necas was heavy talk across league and likely Sabres were in talks about him but he signed so who has been rumored to maybe be moved that hasn’t or hasn’t signed extensions? Pinto signed too. So who is Adams referring too that’s still out there? Tk? Laughts? Gotta be at least one of those as db stating he’s still working on deals?

I have a strong feeling db is holding out trying to up the price on Adams as Adams is in a horrible spot and really needs a top 6 winger and 3c. They have to make playoffs or he’s out. Plus Buffalo has tons of cap and fans are pissed he didn’t fill those holes in free agency.
