We had a II+ clone. Back then I recall Lode Runner, Star Blazer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-R_BE-eckrI) and this RPG called World Builders (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H35vJU78Nzs). I can see why Lode Runner is the only one that anyone still talks about!

Later we'd get an Amiga which was just so insanely better (and it became my music PC) and then finally the IBM route . . .386, 486, Pentium and on.

For gaming nerds, the IBM was the mecca. The Amiga had some good games, but it had like 20 of them. The IBM had a billion.

Do any of you nerds play that new Assassin's Creed game set in feudal Japan? I'm a samurai enthusiast and that's one thing that could potentially entice me to play video games again. Or are there other sandbox RPG samurai games. If they made a Lone Wolf and Cub game how rad would that be.

I am actually thinking of Kendo lessons, just for the excuse to then buy a sword once I actually know something about using them. Then I hit the road, having adventures every week.

It's OK if they don't have the awl - nobody ever uses it.

I have one, I think its apple 2. got it from a friend, its still in the original box. iv never tried it.

last I saw they were 2-300.

Found the monitor.
