I work too much to Richard around with some of these things. I messed around with some IPTV stuff last night but it looks like a clunky disaster.

309 a year is still a lot cheaper than the extra 200 a month I was paying for tv and a phone I didn't use.

Absolutely a grey area, on both sides of the border, it seems.
But, I am fine dealing with delayed live feeds and sometimes unpredictable buffering when it means $12/month rather than >$150/month.
I get over 5000 channels. ALL sports (pro &college), premium movies, 24/7 TV series and movie franchise looping channels and porn.
So happy I switched.

We're not asking Mcdavid if he would rather have cups. Obviously he wants the cups. If i had to choose prime Mcdavid or prime Crosby to start a team around i would choose Mcdavid. He is better in almost every way. In the ways he may not be better he is maybe marginally worse. He won a freakin conn smythe in a losing effort. I think we're getting too cute here with it. This doesn't mean that Crosby is not an all time great. He obviously is one of the best of all time.

Fleury had a .924 save % and had 9 of their 16 wins in those playoffs btw

Have to disagree, Crosby is the better all round player. Crosby hasnt been less then a PPG his entire career (19 years). he has almost 1600 pts in his career and he isn't done. He is obviously offensively gifted but isn't given enough credit for his tenacity without the puck and along the boards. The guy never loses a puck battle, never. I flippin hate the guy, but besides Lemiux, Gretzky and Hasek, he is the best player I have ever seen.

This is 100% debatable. It's a completely reasonable opinion but you state it as fact. The fact is that Crosby has had a level of success that McDavid has yet to sniff yet, outside of individual awards. Crosby also missed a large portion of his prime due to injury.

In a few years it could be McDavid easily over Crosby but at this point I would still take Crosby.

And you can talk about the teams around them, but Crosby took less money to help build a team around him

I agree McDavid is better offensively. I think Crosby is the better overall player, leader, and winner at this point. McDavid is still young enough to change that in my mind, and he already has in others like yourself, which again is a fair stance.

While not hugely different, if McDavid was at 14.5% of the cap when he signed he'd be making about $2M less right now which could be used to give him some help.

It's not McDavid's fault they haven't won and he's not a worse player for it I just think some people are born winners and Crosby has proven time and time again that he is that. McDavid for as good as he has been, hasn't yet.

Where does the line get drawn?

Who would you choose? Corey Crawford or Henrik Lundqvist? One has 2x cups and the other 0. I get that obviously Crawford is like 1000x less impactful of a player than Crosby on his worst day. But I’m just illustrating how this logic can go haywire
