Gretzky will probably hold more records and better career. From a pure skill and talent standpoint it might be mcdavid. Different eras are hard to compare also

That’s the thing. Different eras jade things. Think about how small the goalie pads were back then and it was a lot easier to score on a goalie

With his speed I have a hard time believing McDavid wouldn’t get 200 pt seasons like Wayne did. If I remember right, Wayne’s shot was probably better than McDavids. Wayne had a great slap shot
