Ya, was going to include Ehler's, but figured snarky comments how their games are different.. so left it out.

I like that we don't have too many protection clauses and they are all modified not full. Good job so far.

I mentioned it in my UFA preview arcitle. Cozens is the Sabres’ best C in that area and could help revitalize Zucker’s finishing ability.

So, that “upside” people talk about when referring to Zucker’s offensive ability, it directly results to his inconsistent year-over-year finishing rate.

That upside only comes along a C who can find him in scoring areas. I don’t think McLeod is that guy for him.

For that reason, I’m not sure it’s “better” to have him as your 3LW. If his past results are to be believed, it might be considerably worse in fact.

Trade for a Top 6 or bring up Kulich. If someone gets injured Greenway can fill spot for week or 2.

My ideal lineup. 3rd line can give you 100 points. 4th line is speed and hits and greenway has a offensive game when hes doing the other 2.

Word around the campfire is that Verbeek is inclined to resign Gudas even at 35 - Esp if Luneau isn't ready for full time duty as he would be our only dependable RHD.

More than likely one or more of the thousand of LHD we have would be involved in a trade... the only untouchables on the LHD list are Baby Z and Minty.

Hence why keeping him in the A for most of the season may make that resonate in Kulich's head.

Honestly, there really isn't a great need for Greenway at $3.0m...it isn't horrible if on 3rd or 4th. He should be in a package, or will be a TDL candidate. L3 is perfect for breaking in prospects...so him and Zucker are short-lived here, IMO.

Benson Cozens and Quinn s/b L2 IMO.
They looked good last season, and believe that is what made Skinner expendable.
