I see a GM that’s inherited a bunch of bad contracts and no cap space to improve our team, he’s added placeholders that have no business on this team, it started when there was no cap, the Rangers always thought they could spend their way out of this while selling their future for temporary fixes. They don’t do to good at drafting, always looking for a coach that will solve the problems of the front office, this model will never succeed. The Rangers will always fill their rink, but this isn’t about fans, it’s about the advertising dollars. Dolan loves money, it’s the force that drives him to be mediocre as an owner, next year guys! It’s always next year. You have the power you just don’t realize it yet, when you stop buying their subs and stop going to games and hurt them in the pocket will things finally change. But I feel this will never happen until you prioritize your values, stop with the constant bickering and name calling, you really are weak people - irishgerm
Sure, Drury inherited some bad contracts. But he mismanaged Kravtsov and his value, got rid of Buch for a bag of pucks, wasted picks on a Patrick Kane that he knew needed hip surgery, the list goes on and on. I’m not saying everything he’s done is bad, but I haven’t found much good in what he’s done. Our draft capital has been decimated by bad/wrong decisions on his part. |

I agree to a point, the Buchnevich trade was inexcusable. Management of Lias and Kravtsov was terrible, less so with Lias. The inflated Goodrow contract was on Drury. Letting Vatrano walk looks like a huge mistake, unless he wanted to go to Cali. Feels like the stop-gap game for 4 years now and weve been bleeding picks and assets while not retaining anything from it. |

Ya, his asset management is horrendous. He’s a rookie GM and it shows. His inability to get anything for anyone, yet overpay time and time again for other teams players is inexcusable |

Correct, but I don’t follow as closely as some, I couldn’t tell you what are his contracts and what was Gordon’s,all I know it’s Sathers and Dolans inability to stay away from the limelight, if I was Drury I’d get out now, he’s got people who like him otherwise Grier wouldn’t have done him a solid |

I feel like the way he handled Goodrow, and this Trouba thing will always be hung over his head. He can make the excuse that hes a rookie GM and admit his faults but players dont forget, Im sure he hasnt.
I kinda feel like hes dug the hole and needs to see this through to prove he can be a NHL GM. |

Cue the “he should be working on his skating and his game instead of fighting” as if he’s gonna hang out every day until training camp sparring with laraque - picklerick
Laraque needs to teach him leverage, he seemed to get moved quite easy vs the experienced fighters. |

Sprong is likely to get a 1 year deal, 3.5 ish is what he wants… we probably should be all over this.
Most would agree with me on this one |

Part of that is he’s 6’9 and still filling out his frame. I think if he adds another 20-30 lbs that’ll help |

Reilly Smith doing some offseason workouts with Sydney Crosby yesterday. Kind of a weird choice by Syd to be practicing with such a bad locker room guy considering he can practice with whoever he wants…

it gets me thinking that all Eklund cares about is making money these days and that's why nobody gets banned anymore, why ban anybody who will hit this site numerous times per day that will get hit by these popups he's obviously getting some money for
