I heard Briere also likes Samuelsson: Would Krebs + Samuelsson for Farabee + Attard + 2nd rd pick, be a bad trade? - BuffaloHerd
Unless they are confident that Ryan Johnson is ready, I don't see Samuelsson moving.
Interesting trade proposal though |

Interested to see what happens with Krebs, Briere does like him.
Say a 2nd and Attard - Buff36
That may even be an overpayment by the Flyers tbh. But I'd keep Krebs for anything less. Personally, recouping some of the assets lost for Greenway would make better sense to me. Know people won't like this, but I think Krebs can play anywhere in the lineup, unlike Greenie. |

Have No problem with that, Greenway is kinda redundant now. |

Could be, Flyers have 3 2nds in the Draft, just trying to sneak one out. |

I like the exercise and I think Ion made some good points as well
+/- 2 to 3 goals per player and at the onset we are back to last year's goal numbers. With that said, the Sabres will not miss Skinner's goals.
Improve the defense by 10 - 15 goals = profit/playoffs. - TC4145
Ideally we can end up being midway between last season team goals of 244 and the prior season's 293 goals, which is about 269 goals. This team probably needs at least 260 goals with decent defense/goaltending to get into the playoffs. Of the six teams that had 250-259 goals only two made playoffs (both in Western conf). The anomaly was NYI with their 245 goals. |

Was wondering if Attard is ready for NHL, given the number of LD we have even with Dahlin playing RD. At LD we have Byram, Power, Samuelsson, Bryson, Gilbert, RyJo and Samuelsson fits in at 3rd line LD (unless he's playing 2nd RD), if Attard is ready to step up to NHL and has some upside where he'll eventually looks like a RD version of Samuelsson, then giving up Samuelsson now in order to get Farabee is a price I need to strongly consider. |

This would be a interesting signing, guy produces everywhere he goes with minimal minutes. - Buff36
I've read hes a black-hole on D. Not sure if true, Never really watched him |

Attard is a fill in, think he played 12 games last year. |

I agree, he was more on my radar earlier in July and kind of dismissed him because I thought he was a better fit for RW and might not be great defensively (also wondering why he's still available?). I would be fine with signing him for a year, but then we really need to move one or two of Greenway/Krebs(someone else).
At this time would prefer trading for Farabee which likely involves one of Greenway/Krebs in that trade. |

I read a article on him, and walked away with the impression he's the Flyer's RD equivalent to our Kulich situation. Done very well in AHL and now is essentially slow cooking down there, and needs to be in NHL to fully develop but Flyers have NHL players blocking him. |

Yeah, unfortunately kinda be the same thing here. But think he gives you the option to move Clifton if need be. |

Redundant and slower, agreed. If he had a mean streak and could be an enforcer, that'd keep his value higher, but he's a teddy bear. |

Makes sense. The way it's looking, we're a draft and develop team. So trading unused players for picks is, sadly, the right move for us. |

Adams can't do that anymore, or they need to change there draft philosophy and that's probably to late for him if they do that. You could see the NHL Changing about 4 years ago with bigger skilled players. Adams hasn't seemed to catch on to that. |

I don't know - Buff36
Just above 50% on corsi and fenwick for his career. I'd give him a 1-year Zucker deal if nothing else comes to fruition.
Then you have to ship out Greenway and/or Krebs

We can't get anyone of substance to consider signing here. Until that changes, the only real way to develop a competitive roster is to draft well and target players without NMC/NTCs. Really limits options. |

Current RD on Flyers roster are Drysdale, Ryan Ellis, Risto, Erik (why would you resign him?) Johnson
LD is Sanheim, Seeler, York
So wouldn't think they'd want another RD on the roster, but hey maybe they like RD like we like LD? |
