False.

Actually you are correct. It's more like 77% human caused in Alberta but BC reports are down to 40% human caused...which is a load of horsesh!t.

This explosion of fires started the last few days has been mostly from the waves of lightening storms that just passed through. I watched one of them start from the lake I was fishing 2 days ago. Fork lightening hit a hill late morning and by mid afternoon there was a large pillar of smoke rising.

When you have hundreds of fires start in a 48h period of time during electrical storms... good bet they are mostly from lightening strikes. When you have a bunch of fires start during stable weather... good chance humans are starting most of those. That hasnt been the case this summer so far.

Well boys, at least we aren't Oilers fans. What an absolute fucking embarrassing anal polyp that franchise has become.

Yep Correct Lightning Trains Cigarettes Campfires etc are many causes. However the intentional arson in areas where lightning strikes and unstable weather aren't taking place is becoming alarming and needs to be addressed. Literally have 4-5 fires starting at exactly the same time with zero lightning strikes anywhere near those areas. Some accidental I'm sure but some not.

Actually from talking to friends and family that live up north Alberta (and BC) I am hearing that companies that work in northern regions are getting so sick of intentional fires they are looking at hiring private security companies with high-res drones to help try and catch some of the arsonists. Regardless of whatever side of the political forum you are on, it's happening and these people need to be caught and punished severely for the lives they are costing/affecting. Severely.

Can't say I listened to the 32 Thoughts podcast regularly, but what I heard of Marek there and on the Hal/Bro show occasionally, I thought he was pretty level headed about most things.

He must have done something pretty awful to get fired, considering they kept that biased idiot Luke Gadzic.

One of the articles about it said that something happened at the draft.
Said Marek was there at the beginning but was gone quickly , before the end of the 1st round. Then silence until yesterday.

Seems like a nice enough guy but he is a geek. I don’t mind most nerds but this guy just won’t shut the (frank) up. Ever. About anything. His firing saved my commute to the office. Can’t wait to hear what creepy (frank)ed up thing he did at the draft

Contract comparables for Boeser keep going up with new signings. If he starts out like last season they will sign him long and large.

Uh last time I checked the management and protection of our National Parks fell under Federal jurisdiction no?

OOPS hey?

Just Saying lol

Love Premier Smith!!

With all the Federal money we have sent to Ukraine we could have bought 50 more fully crewed CL-415 Water Bombers. Also, with the money left over we could have bought 250 more lol. Food for thought.

It's disgusting how much money Trudeau sends to Ukraine while our country falls apart and more and more people are homeless because they can't afford the ridiculously exorbitant cost of living.

I mean I hate Trudeau but we need to support Ukraine. Democracy is more important than anything. It’s the 100’s of other things he wastes tax payer $ on
