More than 9 games just starts the clock on contract, don't think it determines where the player goes when demoted.

This can't be true because they really wanted Savioe in AHL last year, so per your reasoning they could have kept Savioe on the NHL roster for 10 games and then sent him to Amerks? I don't think so.

They wanted him in AHL, but due his age he could only be in either NHL or WHL, it didn't matter how many NHL games he played. Playing more than 9 games just counts as one year of his pro contract even if he goes back to the WHL after only playing ten NHL games.

Yeah, I believe you are wrong on the Juniors thing. Sprong played 28gms for Pittsburgh and got sent back down to Juniors and then played 2 more years of Juniors before making it. I believe it's all about seasons occurred or age.

The 9 game threshold only means that his entry level pro contract kicks in, and the year counts as year one of the contract. I think he still can only be in NHL or in Junior, I imagine either way it will count as year two of his rookie deal.

I never said JJ sucked. That was someone else who mentioned he stayed on the perimeter and not great defensively.

6k does suck. His game has a lot of holes. UPL literally is paid like a bottom tier goalie. Which is still too much.

I'm not sure about this ranking, as I would have Kleber ranked higher than Kozak. The ranking should be based on what each player looks like now plus what they could develop into. Kozak is close to his full development, which looks like a NHL/AHL tweener. Kleber has much more development in front of him and his play at his current level projects him as a possible solid NHL defensive Dman. Even though Kleber could end up being a bust, his prospect value is currently much higher than Kozak.

I'd take Garrett Hathaway for our 4ht line, does that count as a Lucic type player? I rather have that type of player and his 7 goals/17pts than what we got with Zemgus 8 goals/14pts.

I assume when a comment like "Lucic type player" is used, its incorrectly based on an end of career eye test rather than the actual player he was during his prime.
