You get a veteran RHD that will both replace Savard in a year as a mentor and can still play a top 4 role.

You give up an asset you can afford to in Harris and a cap dump in Anderson....

yeah, it's all gonna depend on him but I think the idea with Hutson will be to make him spend as much time as possible with the big club, I'm not sure if spending the majority of the year with the Rocket would be all that fruitful for him development-wise.

Nah, you end up with the same number of d-men, with less opportunity for kids to play. Habs really need to look at moving 1-2 defense (if not more) out at some point (some possibly before the start of the season, depending on who is ready to move up from Laval).

We have 3 kids ready to come up soon and Barron on the doorstep.

Again, 4 years @$6.1.

He will be a liability or eating cap space by the time we need him on the PP, when it might actually matter.
