I went the opposite.

6 small portions meals/healthy snacks in a day (8/10/12/2/4/6), with no bread / sugars / etc.... more substantive meals at 10 and 4

Food may not be as tasty, but I have a lot more energy, stomach issues mostly vanished, and slowly losing weight (should do more exercise, but just do not have the time working 10+ hours a day).

I feel if I tried fasting, I would bloat up/over eat on the meals when it came time to eat.

I can't even be tempted.... just bought a new car, came back from vacation and had to buy goalie gear.

Let's just say emptying the VISA card is the top priority right now.

Not really.

I think it starts with being more organized when you do groceries. You know how many meals you need and how many fruits / veggies / meats / nuts / etc... you need. Once I got into that down into a habit, the rest was easy.

Spend less than an hour on Sunday morning getting the smaller portion food stuff ready (either in containers or planning for diversity of food during the week) for Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed and likewise less than an hour Wed night for Thurs/Fri/Sat.

And for the bigger potion meals, I will throw something like a chicken breast in the air fryer for a few minutes, make salad and have a baked potato or some mixed veggies...

I think it comes down to breaking old (decades long) habits with new habits, and that is really hard to do (as with anything). Was always easy to order fast food when I did not feel like doing groceries or even cooking. Or throw some frozen fat-filled processed food thing into the microwave. Which was way too often.

Now I will maybe have a cheat meal once or twice a month - usually when I go out to dinner with friends.

But it did take me about 2 months to find the right balance and for it all to become the new normal.

About 9 months in now.

click "bloggers" and then "guest blogger" and this blog pops up.

i don't know if that will change if someone else does a guest blog (eklund does this sometimes with other blogs too) but it works for now.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 AWD preferred long range. Love it so far.

1750? Jesus that's a lowball offer. They gave me 4500$ for my 2014 Hyundai Accent.

oh you have to adapt for sure, there are no miracle "one size fits all" diets lol... just saying that fasting on a short term basis is probably fine, but long term it surely isn't that healthy.
- Pat1993

but why, just thinking out loud, not preaching anything but:

I think our bodies are more used / made for fast period, back to when we had to work for our food...not eat 3 (or more) meals in our Sofa

im not eating more or less than before, I just do it on a shorter period of time, so that the enzyme that I keep forgetig the name is secreted( is it glucagon ?) it starts somewhere in 10-12 hours of not eating, and that was from the Quebec science magazine, not youtube crap

Yeah, seen people reportedly have success with this, just not a lifestyle I think I can function around.

If it works for you, amazing.

Good on you.
