His injury history was probably part of the equation from the team's perspective, but I think the lenght also puts Guhle in prime position to negociate a big payday on his next deal.

If he keeps improving, plays on his good side and remains a big part of this team, he'll be in a great position for a huge payday as a 29 year old.

Honestly, I think this deal is as close to "fair for both sides" as it could be.
