When you pay more than you need for something, you have to convince yourself it is the best thing. That is the cycle they have trained you to live by in a consumeristic society.

The "conspiracy" is a lot less sexy than cool nano bots or nonsense. It's pretty simple. You fund an organization using your three organizations, that organization says that something needs to happen, that organization lobbies the governments and you happen to own a company making the product that is being lobbied for. Then you sell the shares in the company when you know the product you're selling will no longer be used or bought.

It's not some tinfoil hat thing. It's just corrupt capitalism.
