I really liked Harris, also, he seemed to be a really good character guy (from what I read/saw video of).

Someone had to leave, eventually, I think he will do really well in Columbus.

I mean, this is actually pretty damn cool. if Laine gets things going, the habs could have some pretty sweet combinations in their top 6. and Demidov hasn't even entered the picture yet.

the habs weren't even part of Laine's NMC list lol... after talking with Hughes, Gorton and MSL he felt this was a nice opportunity.

i agree. it's exciting. i don't know anything about his personal situation or why he went into the program but it doesn't seem like he was doing an 8 ball a day or suicidal or anything. it'll be exciting to see him play for montreal.

other moves will obviously be made, but I think habs management will try to be cautious and not start building around Laine right away before he even plays a game. his performances on the ice will need to be at a certain level before they fully commit.

Laine becomes the Habs best forward for the next 2 years. If he fails, you don’t resign him. Helps the team immediately. That 2nd is just icing on the cake
