The Flyers were a decent team last year, but clearly if the Devils played to their potential the Flyers would not have been in the playoff hunt realstically till the end of the season. However this season I think the Flyers are going to be better, and regardless of the other teams in their division, I think the Flyers will be in the mix for most of the season again, though I think they will come up short.

looking forward to another year wallowing in mediocrity, at best.

what a great plan for the new era of orange.

Nope, and my worry is that they start dealing and doing "make the playoffs" deals instead of playing the long game.

And spare me the "They traded Walker" bs. That was always going to happen. And look at the headache they inherited in the process, especially for a pick that will be in the late 20's.

It is amazing they are putting all their hopes on a single draft, and what is more amazing is that fans are buying it.

depends on how the years goes. I do not think this is a good team. If they are hovering around or in a playoff spot, then yes, they will likely make a move or 2.

that single draft in 2025 those players are years away from really contributing ( just think tk will be in year 4/5 on the downside- god only knows what ex selke will look like). 2 of those picks will be late 1st with the flyers pick which could be anywhere from 5-15. I think closer to 5

So, can't wait to see how it unfolds and what type of plyers they use those picks to acquire. assuming they trade some which I also think they will.

not sure fans are buying anything at this point. I for one believe the Flyers have no intention of selecting players with these picks, but will use them in trades.

So basically the same old same old. Then free up cap space and overpay aging vets to huge deals that age badly.

not true. All GMs will state the goal of the season is to make the playoffs. You have to pay attention to what he and Jones have stated on podcasts and other media

You're the last person who should tell anyone they need to pay attention. You frequently get wrong what was said in interviews and media by the coaches, GM, POHO, etc.

Flyers are still at best a bubble team and really when you compare them to the other teams in the division. On paper, the only team they're really better than is Columbus. Flyers making the playoffs would be a disaster.
