well, it's easy (and understandable) to hate the guy, he was a no show for many years. was waived and sent to Laval, not a single GM claimed him...
but yes, everyone is entitled to a 2nd chance, seems like he took the right path. like you said let see how the next season goes.

That must have been an eye opener for him ... and a deciding factor on him moving his ass when he came back in the NHL.

If he performs well (actually shows up) then I have no problem giving him a new short term deal ... otherwise give the chance to a youngster.

I disagree he was a no show.

I will agree offensively, his numbers did not reflect the contract.

He showed interesting chemistry with Newhook and Gallagher last year, wonder where he ends up in the lineup this year.
