Yes, he did have a good second half. But a half a year out of his overpriced contract shouldn't get in the way of a more talented and consistent player on an ELC.

oddly I think Reinbacher would stand out more in an NHL context, as he isn't a flashy player like Mailloux or Hutson can be. he should've taken a few more risks during those rookie games but he's pretty solid defensively and doesn't look prone to making a lot of mistakes.

At some point you gotta know when to let go. Replace him with a cheaper younger player.

I think Reinbacher's ceilng is to become a Ryan Suter type of defenseman. Which would be fantastic.

It will be nice to follow him in Laval when the season begins. Mailloux made big strides last year in the AHL, no reason Reinbacher cannot do the same.

Nobody would've believed at the beginning of last year that Struble would play 50+ NHL games. Defensemen who make few mistakes, even if they're not very good offensively, can still be useful NHL players.

Like Dvorak, he is not a terrible player. I just feel that the Habs have too many of these guys right now, throw Anderson and Gallagher (no matter how much I love that guy) onto the pile (and, to a lesser extent, Evans).

At some point you have to move on...

Armia worked with a sports psychologist last season and it seemed to do wonders.

The toolset was always present, if he found a way to get his head in the right place and perform, we'd be fools to just hang on to the bad times.

He wouldn't be the first guy to figure things out in his life at 30 years old.


This being said, his performances this season will dictate his future. I wish him and us the best.
