I don't have cable anymore, hoping it won't be too much hassle to watch games this season. If it comes down to it I will just pay for the MSG app thing.

I just use xtremehd IPTV. Worked great last year. Sucks everything is delayed by a minute so chatting in here while watching is a bit of a let down lol

Same here. I'm on the CreedTV app on FireTV through the Firestick. For watching when I can't make it in real time, I have the Roger's Sportsnet package. It's not worth the price they charge, but it's only way to not miss any games.

My buddy is ready to cut the cord, so three of us were discussing sharing the cost of a streaming service with multiple logins. I forget what service he was suggesting so maybe go that route?
I would love to be able to tune the game in without putting on the eyepatch.

I started using an IPTV app that is free but I know it is liable to get blocked etc. I have been watching the Mets without issue though. Not looking to have issues trying to watch the Rangers though.

I've had lots of issues trying to watch the Blue Jays this season. Nothing to do with the telecasts, though!!!

Had a cheap tryout of Sling for a month during playoffs last season, but that was ABC. Fubo is what my buddy was looking to try. Anyone use it?

If you know your way around Kodi app, that is one of the best ways for sports streams. Initial setup takes a bit, but once you get it set, it's great.

Boy that takes me back. Had it on a box years ago but the apps kept needing updates and moving. It was too much trouble to keep up with so I gave it up.

The addons definitely ebb and flow. Currently I have it setup with great streaming for all sports.

My father has Fubo but I think it is really pricey for what it is. I only need Rangers games and maybe Knicks since their last post season got me mildly interested.

I would look at the IPTV option that MeltingPlastic mentioned.

MSG app is only 29.99 a month, not too bad for maybe 7 months total?

I'm using something similar. Just need to add a DNS app to get rid of the ads. need to do that this weekend.

If we split the cost 3 or 4 ways it would be worth it for the live TV too since we only have a Roku with a few apps.

My buddy had the IPTV for about 6 months a few years ago. I think he was sick of having to connect the VPN (also worried about being caught) and connect the laptop to his TV.

Just be careful about Fubo with regards to streaming from multiple IP addresses. While some services say you can have x amount of devices streaming at once, they may boot streams not originating from the same location.

Edit: Extremehd IPTV has the abiity to sideload an app to android devices including firesticks. Might be worth looking at.

I've had it 2 years with no issues. There's always risks but hey. I'd gladly pay money for all NHL games with no blackouts. The league doesn't provide that so IDK what to do and I don't need it for anything but hockey as I have a full Usenet downloader setup and media server at my house ha

This is essentially what I do. IPTV service is $12/month and can be used on up to 4 devices at a time. I have a Firestick on each tv, with VPN loaded. Easy peasy.

Me too! Checked it out a few years ago but the Rangers are one of the most blacked out teams in the league. Screw that.
Hear that NHL?

I just realized I've been renting my router from Comcast forever when I can get my own and add a VPN.
