Off topic but did you see that Danny Carey and Steve Vai are touring with Adrian Belew and Tony Levin doing a King Crimson tribute?

As we approach the start of the season, just a little highlight package to get us excited.

Some of those goals were so sweet and those come from behind wins... *chef kiss*

God I hope this team can stay healthy this season.

That was awesome. Some great memories there. We should have totally beaten Edmonton. This year, we just our star goalie healthy and we can win the Cup.

Once again I cannot say it enough how important special teams will be for both the regular season & the PO’s. Really wanna see the PK greatly improve it’s the one facet that helps to not chase games & use up excess energy in a long season. It alone can decide a PO series.

A great PK did wonders for the Oilers in the POs last year. I wouldn't mind having that on this team.

I'd like us to score more off of the rush, rather than always trying set plays that are easily scouted. We almost lost to Nashville because our offense completely dried up and we got lucky with Boeser and Miller being beasts in 2 very pivotal games.

Elliotte: It's known Ian Clark may move on...Canucks aren't going to stand in the way if an opportunity opens up.

Links the Devils to Ian Clark.

He mentions even though relationship between Clark and Canucks has turned into a bad direction, other teams value knowledge he has.

There was a lot of defending on Clark as goalie guru(not I). This management group clearly didn't think so anymore.

That was a Benning hire.

Reads like they’re not happy he’s not on the ice with the goalies any longer.

I didn't rage quit, I just left because this place kind of sucked. I've been over at HF and it kind of sucks also.

I was under the impression he asked to be promoted because he didn’t want to be the “on ice” guy any longer. Sounds like they’re hoping he just moves on if he doesn’t want to be an on ice goalie coach anymore.

Ya that's what I read as well. He didn't want to be the full time on-ice guy, so they gave him whatever job he wanted. Weird if they're pushing him out?

Where did you find that Elliott quote? The only place I could find it was on a Devil's reddit page and it was posted by Taj. Is there an actual posted quote from Freeman?
