You’re just splitting hairs, 2024/25 will be his 5th pro season, even though he’s only 24, I would consider him a young pro, not a prospect. But neither of us is wrong, technically.

Lekkerimaki is a prospect just out of junior hockey, Woo is a young pro about to enter his fifth professional season….don’t @ me.

anybody got a line on players they're bringing to calgary tonight? trying to decide whether to pop down for the game but historically the lineup they send to yyc is paper thin. then flames usually dress their vet heavy lineup and hard to even get a read on the canuck kids as it just turns into a drubbing.

suppose i should eat some crow while i'm at it, been a while since coming here. was so wrong about a multiple things last year. couple big ones about petey destined for free agency and then miller. expressed much hate towards him up till last year but no player has ever flipped my opinion of him so drastically as he did. he showed me so much last year, no moping ... head down skating back when he turned it over, leadership, clutch, and just overall value on his contract now. i was so wrong about him. hope that alleviates some of the hate, but flame away if you so choose ... i deserve it especially on miller front. i didn't want to jinx it by coming back here last year ... they were playing so well right out the gate ... i'm more than a little stitious!

The Canucks will likely dress a trash roster. I also think Miller has a minor injury. He was at Hollyburn watching his daughter’s hockey tryout last night and no where near the rink. Hopefully he is back for at least one warmup game

yeah i'm used to that. really only debating since they don't come back to cowtown till new years game, which is always pricey. i see flames posted their roster already, but nothing i can find on canucks so far. they probably do flames organization a small solid by not posting garbage line-up earlier so transplant canuck fans don't pull the shoot.

If you aren’t concerned he has now gone 37 games without an even strength goal you are the one that has a drug problem. hopefully he gets his head back in hockey or this teams window is over. His contract is a far bigger concern than Demkos health

Petey has put himself into this position & a new huge contract says ‘show me time’ no 2 ways about it. The past means squat now after cashing in on it. He’s more than capable but he of all players will be under heavy scrutiny. No excuses now.

They certainly made that spot tougher by pushing it after they agreed to wait until this summer. Petey was playing himself out of that kind of money but they handed him a ultimatum instead of waiting.

Until Blueger returns, I definitely have Raty in the lineup.... He's had a very solid camp. Can see he's taken the next step.

Nice goal by Lekkerimaki, lucky but I like how he pulled the puck into his body and got the shot off. Raty with a nice one as well.
