Sabres are basically playing an AHL pens. It shouldn’t be hard for tuch tage and cozens to give a little bit of effort and look decent.

They completely dominated through 2 periods. Have to think they let up a bit up 6-1.

Top guys are in because they only have a couple opportunities before they leave. First game of the year after a couple tough days of practice, I don't expect them to be all that sharp.

The disallowed goal … UPL couldn’t find the puck.

I’m not sure how people give UPL a pass when Ryan miller would let in a softie. Fans would want him traded immediately

It’s one of the very few NHL player preseason games at home and tuch and tage came out to play like it was open skate at Holiday Twin rinks.

Ruff and the Sabres are trying to reestablish themselves and they are half trying.
