The only reason the "Sabres loaded up" on Saturday is because the roster that opens the season will have played 3 Preseason/Exhibition games in order to tune up.
Pens will be playing the Rochester Americans from the AHL, not the Sabres.
Have fun!

There should definitely be a thing where Boko is a regular player and every time he fights or dies something a little crazy they play Slayer and it says Loko for Boko on the Jumbotron. Give the people what they want.

I think there should be more custom songs, etc for the players when they do something.

So many fans hate fighting and aggressive play in hockey. It’s well documented over time that hockey fans just hate it.

Doing show stopping antics for a player that belongs nowhere near an NHL roster would be a whole lot less popular than you think it would be.

Just think it’s funny you get pissy when good players showboat but think it would be super cool if the organization gave a plug a theme song. You don’t actually advocate for aggressive, hard nosed hockey. What you want is WWE drek.

I’m in no way advocating for Eric Godard to square off with Brisn mcgratton in the first period.

So.... Another game where there's no much to talk about.

Hayes might have a something left in the tank. Skated a little better than I thought. Glass and McGroarty had some nice shifts (with Hayes).

St. Ivany continues to impress me. Kind of reminds me of a right handed Dumo.

Poor Poulin... Took two bad penalties away from the puck.

Good. Hayes, ATCh, Lizotte, Bell looked like men playing against boys.

Bad, Mcgroarty didn’t have a pluse in the entire game.

Worse. Graves (frank)ing sucks

Terrible. Mike Sullivan.

This is pretty much what I would say. Disappointing that in what is supposed to be a competitive camp so few players are really stepping up. Hayes does look like he has something and was my pick for our best player.

Good if you're Puljujarvi, bad for everyone else on the bubble. At this point, if we had more contract spots, I'd think Dubas might take a hard look at the waiver wire.
