My feed is almost in sync with radio, try fast forwarding feed or reconnecting to it.

Every time he is on the ice, the Wings are owning the zone. He got the puck at one point with some and decides to pass to Sanford. Like, why?

And at the same time KK shows flashes where he gets to a puck that few other Dmen would.... Youngest Dman in the NHL last yr. Really no doubt 100-150 AHL games would do this kid just fine.

First time I've seen Phillips and thought he looked a bit heavy footed.

Thru 12 in the 2nd Allan looks best of the Dmen. ........ Spellacy on the 1st unit PK with Slaggart. They can get dangerous quick.

Dare I say Soderblom looks quiet and square, hasn't anchored himself.

He's getting to his spots clean, on time and square. Even the Tank goal he read it nicely and got over clean and square, on time.

Reichel is taking centerman responsibilities as Nazar is F1 on the forecheck.

Considering the closest things to a true top 6 player on the ice for the Hawks were Reichel and Nazar not sure what people were expecting to see.

Fatty probably won’t like it, but it seems as though the Hawks plan was for KK to be in Rockford for the year doesn’t appear likely that he’s at a level where he can beat out what is currently on the backend. If Kaiser is ready to go, I think he gets the last spot available.

Imo I think starting kk in Rockford and have him work on certain details of his game would benefit him greatly. See where he is after say 20 games if he has improved significantly then bring him up. If not keep him down there. Go out and sign a veteran or have Phillips play in the NHL.

While those cuts were expected - and I believe Misiak previously returned to junior - tonight some AHL prospects should be in the lineup vs St Louis

I know a lot of you are curious to see which prospect "makes it" or doesn't make it etc...
Am I the only one wondering if 98 is going to live up to the hype? Is he going to be in the Crosby/McDavid range or is he going to be more of a Stamkos and MacKinnon type?
Is it a huge let down if he turns out to be in the MacKinnon range?

I know he is still a child at 19 years old,but if he ends up with 40 goals and 44 assists, will that be considered living up to the label given to him?

I do not know.
Each case, each player, each team is different. I think this year's version of the 'Hawks is better. So I hope Bedard has a better year.
And I would like the 'Hawks beat expectations and be much closer to .500 than last year. And also, their new network to get on my cable system here in Springfield, IL.

And Spellacy is still with the club! No, he ain't gonna be a Hawk this yr but seems they love watching the kid play hockey, just like the fans do, and wanna keep him around for awhile....... Kid is really raw but the way too early returns hint Spellacy just might develop into a legit NHL power player of some degree.

Glad to see they're keeping Savoie up too for a bit more. Kid finds a way to put his stamp on every shift... Guessing he dresses tonight in STL?
