I'm mildly surprised it's still on. It's blinked a couple times, but if this keeps up I may try to stream the game later.

We got hit two years ago by Fiona. I was quite excited about, and then it hit about 3am and my excitement immediately went to sheer terror. It was like a never ending roar that went on for hours and hours. Lost the power for 10 days.

I do get a chuckle now when I see Reaves in the line up for the exact reason.

(frank) you Wedgie!

From last blog (and side note - listening to the mayor of Toronto talk is painful).

Not hockey related but big new outdoor stadium (music and festival geared) of up to 50,000 people coming to Downsview Park and set to host concerts as early as June 2025.

Rogers seems to be the big player, they say in the press conference they will still do concerts at Rogers Centre so I would think the Scotiabank Arena may see less of the big name artist - or the super star ones anyway.

Interesting.

Important footnote:

It’s just temporary. They are only going to operate it for about five years, until the developers turn the land into housing.

So “stadium” is a bit misleading.

Which ones? I sure do see an awful lot of them on here.
- Cush29

I didnt post that. Someone altered my post.
I was just pointing out what a complete moronic idea it is to suggest a tunnel under the 401

The better idea is to subsidize the 407 for truckers and get them off the 401.

But GoLeafsGo!

I honestly think that is a strategy they have - if they have their name on everything they will be mentioned every day when sports are broadcast or a concert spoken about. lol
- Cush29

Oh im sure it is.
Its the strategy of most big companies.

I mean rogers are mentioned daily, it just that they are cursed for their ridiculous prices.

Those sumbeaches always like to hit at night. It's worse when it's pitch black outside. You can hear the weather, but can't see it. I hope neither of us have to go through that again.

It was an eye opener. I feel a little anxious whenever I see one forming now.

Well solid first overall. Regulars looked good. Cowan stood out a bit. Patches likely has a spot Id say. D looked pretty good. Stolarz wasnt really tested a lot there but was ok again.

Not lookin too shabby

Not bad. Noticable more towards end of the period. Pretty good scoring chance.

Both…and Lily and one Jarnkrok (keeping Kampf as a C is better option between the 2)

Nah, Cowan we should be keeping. Robertson can go. I think Lilybust could too, I think Jarnkrok and Kampf likely stay being more of a Berube type guys for 3rd/4th lines.

Gotta give to get though…I also like Minten over Cowan personally - he’s a smarter 200 foot player in my opinion.
