I said pre-season both the Oilers and Canucks will be taking a step back this season and so far...

Regardless of the off season acquisitions for both clubs the Oilers D is absolutely brutal and the Canucks have 5 new forwards and 2 new Dmen. With the Demko injury the Canucks are no better than a WC team right now and EDM is headed that way as well if they don't get that D shored up. Bowman has work to do and not much cap space to do it lol. You need to find another Ekholm not sure that's possible...
