Dam Flames got to learn how to lose like the Oilers!

That was actually quite intense, the early going it looked like the refs were in control after the Rooney hit for sure. The flames 5th goal if not scored I would have expected a double minor the flame went down like he was shot by Tyler meyers.

Anyway good to see the grit win this out, and yes suck it oilers! Looks good on them watching tv everyone and their cousin thinks they are just the cup winner have a season first!

We didn't get a save when it was needed and backed off a little too much. Much of it looked a lot like a preseason game but congrats on the win.

Either way blowing a 4-1 lead shouldn't be happening at that level regardless of game 1. Whole game was quite sloppy especially the goalies. But, the Flames pressed and Van had no answer so kudos to them. Tocchet has to be pissed lol

There are not going to be that manymemorbale games for us Flames fans this year. Last night's game will be one of the few. Flames always play their best with no expectations. I fully expect this team to finish just high enough in the standings to lose our first-round pick to Montreal.

I agree. Once the stripes put their whistles in their pockets, Canucks didn’t stand a chance.
Hughes was the only Canuck D that looked good, Tocchet has his work cut out for him.
