No way the Kings trade for a goalie especially one that is rumored to be asking for so much money. From all accounts it sounds like the Kings are waiting for Portillo to be ready and that’s a couple years out which is when Kuempers contract ends.

Why would any big time player want to go to that craphole state of California? The taxes (fed, state, local) alone would eat up 60% of his income. Shesty should just hang tight and go to a no income tax state and keep a lot more of his earnings.
