With Zub down - should Sens sign Mark Giordano or Kevin Shattenkirk?

Too old and too slow. We need more defensive style d-men.
First up , I see the Sens letting JBD move into the lineup with Sanderson.
Maybe they try a trade if Zub out longer term. Maybe a 3rd round pick for Liljegren from the Leafs. A d-man getting no Leaf love ... but a right handed d-man. Maybe a new start for him will help like it did for Sandin. Ya, I know .... Leafs won't make that trade to Ottawa. And he makes $3 million per year. But if Zub is out for a longer period, you toss him on LTIR and kick that can down the road.
Of course, we could always try Guenette from Belleville.
As for goalies ... hopefully Ullmark will be back by Thursday. Sogaard was decent considering he played the previous night in Belleville. Short time turnaround with no expectation of playing and then boom ... he was thrown into this runaway game. My bigger concern is that Forsberg has looked downright ugly this year. It might be time to get a new back up and try waiving Forsberg to the minors to try and recover some semblence of a game.
