what stood out was every one of those 8 teams were more prepared than the sabres and so much better on basic fundamentals

the second goal was a tip when the team was down 2 men

Agree. The off season plan was inept, but the brilliant GM threw the farm at 1/2 the team so we were locked in on them.
So the big plan was to slap a C on a kid and not really address the 1000lbs elephant in the room that 2022 was an annomoly

Wouldn't be shocked, that's just how hockey works sometimes. Sabres looked pretty ragged early last year, then they'd stick it to the better teams.

I was thinking JJ and Benson so far. They need to get Power a proper partner that helps him grow his game. Wilford definitely isn't and if they don't, this could be what Power is.

Wilford has not helped 1 Dman grow his game since he's been in Buffalo. I have been calling for his head for atleast 3 years now, am I missing something ?

Has tage been hurt for 1 full calendar year? I don’t buy that excuse. He’s played like garbage prior to any injury last year
