I can’t believe we are actually discussing in-game coaching…. It seems like years

I’m happy to see ruff and appert often leaning over and talking to players and giving help and encouragement…. How many times did meatballs do that?

Get 4 points this week and the conversation will change quickly.

If they play the way they did vs the panthers. We will win a decent amount of games.

Keep the speed and playing with pace with stretch passes.

There Defense still sucks, lot of open guys in the slot still. Still work to be done there. But they have definitely picked up the pace the last few games.

Yes it does. Samuelsson needs to take a seat.

He got walked, just rims the puck, and doesn’t do much good

Time for Dahlin to be a Leader, and keep pushing
- Buff36

So I can't comment too much on specific play as I have been able to watch a total of 3 periods worth of games so far. Missed the last 2 for obvious reasons, just got power last night around 8:30pm.

Dahlin needs to lead on the ice as well. 1 point in 4 games just isn't good enough.
Also, Power and Byram need to increase their productivity as well...1 point each from them is also below expectations.

Tage is under water as is Cozens, Quinn so far.

Notice the common theme? The Core is under producing against expectations.
Good news is their fancy stats are generally good, which are good signs for the future...just not realized in the present.

Had his best game last night, don't know why he left the front of the Net on that Bennett goal. Flopping around like a fish there in the slot, but he actually hit people. Think he was the only player graded a A last night.

Almost an A, just short...but he led the team...glad to see it.

Needs to keep playing that way, like Gilbert lit a little fire in him.

Gilbert played 4 minutes.

Funny to me that Samuelsson and Greenway catch so much flack here. They are clearly Lindy-trusted guys who fill vital defensive roles.

He got the vest or whatever prop they hand out in the locker room after a win. Fwiw.

Idk if FL also running with 11-7 last night had any influence on Ruff’s player usage being discussed in here.

Forgot to add... Dahlin missed some (most?) of preseason/training camp. His game will improve as he plays more

Give me a Top6 forward and Anderson on D and i love the way this team is constructed.

Make it happens Top5GM. I think we would have to part with one of Peterka or Quinn but im ok with that.

I have been a big supporter of Samuelsson, even when he was Drafted and a lot complained on here about it. He needs to stay Healthy and be a physical presence out there.

When you have a bottom-5, you try and then end up with Clifton and Zucker instead.

I think Sucker and Clifdog have a place on this team. Zuck on bottom 6 with speed ( not for 5 mil ) and Cliff at a 3rd pair that hits anything that moves. Top 6 needs what Cozens was suppose to turn into. Top 4 needs just a good vet D to stabilize the kids when they’re on there heals.

I have little doubt that they were both well down their list of targets. I'm sure Kev wants to do better, it's just beyond his capabilities.

He got walked on a one on one. Lazy with his break out passes.

He scored because the goalie was down and out.

Not a fan of his game at all.

He had a 10 game stretch last year where he looked like our Power forward of the future.

He looked like that yesterday.

Detect a slight bit of recency bias there.

He played well last night. Not the first time.

Normally I would, however my post was about production realized...the result if you will.Tuch has 4 points, 82 pt pace, and nice split between G and A's ... sure, I'd gladly take more, but he is doing his share production wise. The others are not realizing the results of their efforts for the most part...they collectively need to start finishing off of good Corsi numbers.

I think for Samuelsson its more about the contract and an extension of frustration with adams

Greenway had a great game last night, if thats what he brings every night I will ease off.
Otherwise he's a stone handed cement foot who is 6'6 but isn't mean and doesn't usually play to his size
