Stats sheet didn’t do it justice but Dahlin looked really good tonight

Like Quinn to, he just doesn't look right IMO
- Buff36

Quinn has looked slow, scared with the puck, and woeful overall.

No idea why he has been so bad.

Dallas might be the best team in the league. Tough game, good 2 points.

Power gets some credit too. 3 A is a big night.

- Lunaion

Putting 3 in and giving up zero until the Stars pulled the goaltender and had a delegated wounded duck go in is a strong team effort.

Especially with how stingy Dallas has been defensively.

Agree, think they were averaging 1.50 GA a game so far this year.

Yes.

Also, Kulich has been playing well.

Quinn is really dragging down that line, along with some questionable decision making by Cozens.

Maybe it was Peterka who was driving that kid line all along...?

Achilles injuries are tough, I don't know if that's it. But with as much pushing off and step overs you do in Hockey that really works that area. He just looks slow doing everything at this point.
And I would move Cozens from C and when Benson is Healthy I would like to see a bit of Benson Kulich Cozens as a line.

Think they should try Kulich at C, give him some more Room to get that rocket off. Kids got a better Wrist Shot then Olofsson.

Confusing on Quinn because he looked good after returning from both injuries last season.

Mystifying play from him.

Yeah, I thought he would keep it going into this season. Just doesn't look like he has his legs or he's playing scared.

For the sake of prospective, is trading a 2nd round pick for Beck worst than using the 14OA pick on Zemgus Girgensons? I assume we all hope Konsta Helenius is not Girgrensons 2.0, but what do we think the typical 2nd round pick turns into (especially with this org making the selection, because JJ Peterka is not typical). How does Beck stack up against some of the more recent Sabres high 2nd round picks?

2014 2nd Rd, pick 31: Brendan Lemieux
2016 2nd Rd, pick 33: Rasmus Asplund
2017 2nd Rd, pick 37: Marcus Davidsson
2018 2nd Rd, pick 32: Mattias Samuelsson
2020 2nd Rd, pick 34: JJ Peterka
2021 2nd Rd, pick 33: Prokhor Poltapov

- BuffaloHerd

I see a star, 4 busts, one too early to tell. Beck is bad. If he was traded for a 5th rounder, I wouldn’t care. It was a terrible move. He’s fast. That’s it. Bad advanced metrics. The one thing he was supposedly good at being on the PK is still below average. In short, trading a second rounder should net a better player than Beck. Period. End of discussion.

I believe Lindy said he was close to 100% again. If it's a hernia, that's hard to believe, so not sure what to think. He did look like his old self yesterday though. Almost everybody did tbh.

And, for once, I may have been wrong...

About McLeod.

Better than I'd ever seen in EDM. He's not just playing positional hockey, but smart hockey. Still think Savoie will end up being a comparable player, but the trade doesn't look so Malenstynish anymore.

That being said, don't get used to it (frank)ers, this officially makes me 107-1 in the takes department. Speaking of which...

Can we waive UPL yet?!!!!

It was pretty empty. Western non Canadian team visiting on a Tuesday night .

Sabres played great

Adams gets 100% of the credit

- Boss34

So adams gets credit when they show up but its coaches and players fault when they don't?

Lol they did play great last night. Love to see them skating and pressuring. Need to find some consistency with that

I'd like to see Krebs to L2

Cozens-Krebs-Kulich?
Quinn-Krebs-Cozens?

Quinn needs to be in the PB for a bit.

Agreed, not sure why its a problem this year all of a sudden. Something else is off about him

One sequence in particular he carried the puck through the neutral zone in slow motion which let the stars backcheck and turn the puck over just inside their blue line to go the other way. Dragged the entire rush down to his speed and it killed the play

Kulich needs to stay here. Tough to see it happening if he doesn't start scoring though

UPL was great from the puck drop. Two games in a row

Stop minimizing his performance
