I know what his Wife is doing and she's in her last Year of Residency. She wants to get into Brain Study and Therapy, someone in her Family had some kind of Brain Disease and she wants to find a Cure. Buffalo has 2 of the Best Hospitals in the Country to help her with that. And I like the Hit, but isn't what made me like Trouba. Bottom 4 xGF% on the team are Lafferty, Krebs, Malenstyn, and Kulich. Consensus here is 2/4 are playing well.

Top 4 xGF% are Tage, Benson, Dahlin, and JJ. Consensus is that 2/4 are playing poorly.

I'd defend Benson over Kulich as a significant upgrade and their best option, as soon as he's healthy. Unpopular opinion atm, I know.

Benson will need to start producing a long with maintaining his positive analytics very soon.
Beck with 2 pts is out producing him while playing 60% of Benson's 14:00 ATOI while skating with no talent on his line.

Benson, Cousin and Quinn all need to get their head outta of their asses.

Hard to not acknowledge power as a good up and coming defenseman at this point in the season.

Maybe dahlin is hard to partner with? That’s why they haven’t found the right partner .

The problem they have is that Joker doesn't play well with anyone else.

No matter if the hit was dirty or not, or if Trouba can continue at the current level, I would trade Sammy straight up for him. The one thing he brings that we don't have: is someone that strikes concern in the opposition when they layout Peterka. I don't think any player on the sabres scares any team, we don't have anyone delivering nasty open ice checks or confronting another team's dirty hits to our players.

Advanced stats say he's been their 2nd best player. Yes, need some points to go with that, but he hasn't been as bad as it might seem. I'm not worried about him.

It was just in response to the statement Dan made about it being square to the chest. Whether we agree or don't, that shoulder is right at the bottom of his chin in that shot.
