Hart could always be counted on to let an iffy goal in per game, even when he was playing well. When he wasn't playing well... yikes. For a guy with average size and average-ish athleticism and a mediocre glove he had to be 110% dialed in mentally and he often... wasn't.

For a guy who garnered a lot of comparisons w/ Carey Price coming up... he strangely didn't have any of Price's strengths (big, unflappable, godly glove, superior puck-handling and excellent recovery ability). Only thing they shared was efficiency in technique.

I'm not sure what all the complaints are about. The locker room was fixed. The Standard was applied and culture is just oozing all over the place.

This is basically the same lineup as last year, there is no logical reason why Torts doesn't know who can play with who. It's not like he's giving the players any time, he's changing it up after a couple shifts, not games.

Just like last year when the team fell apart, Torts is now moving Poehling up in the lineup. No one is dumb enough to think Poehling's career trajectory is magically going to change and become a top 6 player.

Maybe just Maybe...the plan is to tank the team by using incompetence as a reason.
