McJesus’ effort on Carolina's OT goal was embarrassing. Love it.

Miller with 3 points playing injured.

Most of the new additions looking good so far. Sprong and Forbort not so much though...

Sprong should come in handy when injuries hit. If he’s got a ways to go defensively may not be the worst thing to watch a little. As for Forbort, definitely not sold on him. Glad brannstrom has stepped up.

3rd pairing is tighter with Brannstrom so far... and he can move the puck well.

Poor Podz. Feel bad for the kid. By christmas he won't be with the oil. Might not even be in the NHL. Just looking at his stats, specifically games played and TOI. Since the 21-22 season his NHL games played and time on ice has dwindled significantly.

He sure seems like a player destined to play in the KHL.

Yeah I was somewhat disappointed to lose him, but I watched an oilers game and it's the exact same thing. He gets close but no cigar.

He scored some nice goals for us and I liked his work ethic and physicality, but at the end of the day you need to be able to get in the right spot and finish in the nhl ... and unfortunately he's always missing the former or latter.
