Didn't understand the Gryz signing. That should be expected with those two on the ice in all honestly. Graves is playing pretty good. Might want to move him up.

Won 2 cups, got a big ticket.

Puck dropped around 11:15 at my house. I feel asleep in the 1st. My child woke me on couch 4am. He asked me what the score of the game was as we zombied back towards our bedrooms. I was pleased with getting a point vs them in their barn in a different time zone like that. Flames have come out the gate red hot, haven't lost in regulation yet.

Pens are currently 11th in both PP and PK. That's pretty good. If you can stay around top 10 in those you are giving yourself a great chance of obtaining standings points every game.

Why all the long faces with negative comments mixed in? I mean this is what all yinz wanted right? The core to ride off into the sunset. It's just wayyy shorter of a ride to get there than what you expected.. No? With sullivan playing the elder players 25 min a game and sully already playing malkin and sid together with less than 10 games into the new season reeks of desperation with sullivan. Keep riding them elders sulliy, horses getting tired though.. Yikes...

In all my years coming to this site I dont think there's ever been someone who's more wrong on the regular than you. Not just about the Pens, or hockey in general, but also about the other people posting here.

I thought the Pens played a decent game against a good team. The forwards were noticeably better defensively than they have been. They even hit a few guys.

The blueliners are just bad. Letang isn't near the player he used to be, lost too much speed. He's no longer a top pair player. Karlsson is as advertised, a one-way defenseman. He is as close to all offense and no defense as you can be. As for the rest, they're just slow and soft.

Good to get a point, they are in a tough grind of a schedule.
