Since we don't have a goaltender that can go to Laval without going through waivers, I doubt we see much change between the pipes, at least not for a few weeks.

Before last night's game, Montembeault was in the top 5 in the league in goals saved above average so I'm willing to let that bad performance from him slide.

I know Primeau isn't perfect but the team is playing so horribly defensively it's hard for me to really blame the goaltenders at this point.

I was going to add that caveat. The whole team seems deflated already and as frustrated as some fans are. They need to work harder and stop shooting themselves in the foot to start most games.

1: There's a new law project that will prevent these from happening soon.

2: My girlfriend actually invited them in once. They honestly made a very good case about what we needed to chance to improve our isolation and our heating system. Truthfully, we were very interested. They even gave us all the details about the different government incentives to act now.

But when we asked them to give us an estimate, they kept going on and on about needing to verify if we "qualified" for their financing program. At one point I stopped them saying I didn't need to qualify for anything as the way I was gonna pay them was my buisness, I just needed an estimate of the work so I could wrap my head around the project.

They didn't want to give us one right now because "that's not how we do things" and I told them I wouldn't do anything until I see a detailed estimate of the work they wanted to do.

We've never heard from them again.

These guys aren't in the isolation/heating buisness, they're in the financing buisness where they'll do the job, but it will end up costing you 35-50% more because you pay interests over a long period of time.

A complete scam, that's hidden behind actual work.
