I just don't see how it gets above .900 as a team. Ersson's career in 67 games played save %.892. We all hope he will develop into a workhorse #1. No sign of that yet. Ironically, the Avs might have similiar goaltending as the Flyers. Not sure, they have a long playodf run in them with their goaltending.

I really don't know what to make of Ersson. It's concerning that he just can't get that save pct. above .900. The league average is down this year so far. I think it's .897 for an average. I think Fedotov gets one more shot tomorrow night (if he plays) and if he craps the bed again they will almost have to see if Kolosov can do better. I picked them to finish last in the Metro at the start of the season because of their defense and tending, so not shocked. I thought that they would put the puck in the net though.

You don't think that eventually that Konecny, Tippett, Frost, Farabee and Foerster will score some goals? That the teams offense will score more than they currently are?

I see a serious lack of energy and effort from this team I didn’t see last year. The other night in Seattle not sticking up for Michkov when he was decked from behind is just one example. I really wonder if this team is playing for Torts any longer. I see I big similarity between the end of last season and the start to this season.

They look completely disjointed at this point. I think part of it is all the line shuffling, but one has to wonder if these players have had enough of Torts' crap. I mean, it's happened everywhere that he has coached. They aren't a very good hockey team and they have to play balls to the wall to compete, but something is amiss. I also think Michkov is head and shoulders better than anyone else on this team. He makes plays that they aren't expecting. He just sees the game at a different level. I just hope that he can handle the physical rigors of the NHL.

I think that's the point. The entertainment factor isn't there. If they were losing entertaining 5-4 games we would still complain (lol), but at least it would be bearable. This is looking like the pre Torts teams that just mailed it in every night and that's when I will start tuning out.

I've seen you attack everyone all the time that has a different of opinion, then you get in a huff and try to back what you say in stats( but what you forget is, not everything can be told truthfully in stats) and when ppl have strong points to there opinion you call names.

JL should be sent down.
TK is about the only extrovert on the team and imo should have been traded.
I see zero vision with the way this team is assembled.
Torterella is a clown and doesn’t know what to do with the players he has. I come to this conclusion by how he handles the lineup and constantly changes the line combinations.
One would think you would put lines together where they complement each others strengths.
Then stick with those lines for a few games.
DB doesn’t get off without criticism. He is the GM he is responsible for putting together a team not a roster of players.
These guys can say all day long the locker room is great.
Well locker room joy doesn’t not necessarily translate to being a winning team.
I will root for a couple of players such as MM, Ersson, York JL while he is here, Frost. The rest I am more or less neutral on.

That's the part that cracks me up the most. He actually said that they need to stay patient in the in game interview during the second period and then he shows absolutely no patience at all in the way he handles the lines. He has become a clown show and this is coming from one of his backers. I do wonder if he just sees the writing and the wall and hopes he gets fired.
