Very nice to have 4 lines that can play. Trouba hit was clean. elbow tucked shoulder to chest. Ridiculous that he had to fight. Balanced scoring is a something we all have been waiting for.

Lifelong Rangers fan back to the 60s. The chemistry on these lines is fun to watch. They cycle so well and just know where each other is going to be. Chytil stays healthy he is going to be a beast. As far as Trouba hit goes my feeling is that it was clean but of all his big hits this one was unnecessary. Games well in hand, player had his head down, just take him out dont have to pulverize him. First time that I wished Trouba had held back a bit actually felt sorry for the player.

This is the team we needed vs Florida. Not a team who had one line who could score and a defense who had 2 healthy guys on it.

Gonna be a fun stress free year until April and whenever game one is, because the Rangers are loooooooaded

I'm no meteorologist but i think being the highest scoring team in the league along with having the best goalie in the world bodes well for future success

Very excited for Thursday vs Florida. This start has been awesome but we've only played 1 team that made the playoffs last year so far. Granted they've dominated these games like we would hope, but I'm excited to see this team vs some better competition.

I know it's just reputation at this point but I don't understand the people freaking out about this Trouba hit (not here but elsewhere). Not only did he keep his elbow in and feet on the ice, he lowered his shoulder rather than coming up on the hit, Barron just ducked down even further which is why his head was the point of contact. What is Trouba supposed to do there?

It's not only that, their 5 on 5 play so far has been excellent...which hasn't been the case the past few seasons. So, with a top notch PP, the best goalie in the world and it now looking their 5 on 5 play is trending towards tops of the league I think they're my pick to hoist in June if they stay relatively healthy....unfortunately haha

Yeah, hoping the match up with Florida lives up to it's potential!
Nine of our 15 skaters had points last night. And only Trocheck, Fox and Miller were over 20 min. TOI. With only Fox significantly past that mark. That's a level of depth that not many can boast.

I can see some people planning the parade already, you know because the Cup is won 6 games into a season.

Like we havent seen this movie before.

Barron appears to lean in to turn as Trouba went for the hit, which is why there was some head contact. I dont think it was Troubas fault and neither did the Refs since there was no penalty. I wonder if the league will give Trouba a call though.

Every single person that has talked about how well we've started has expressed that we need to see them do it in the post-season.
Now we can't even be excited about our team playing well in any capacity???

You know I love to have discussions with anyone if they are willing to debate in good faith, regardless of their posting history. But, if this is your opinion, kindly shut the fuck up!!! It doesn't make you a realist, it just makes you an asshole.

Jesus Brukie just let people enjoy themselves why does it bother you so much? Most of us watch sports to give us some hope and excitement outside of daily life I really don't understand sports fans that are so pessimistic. Find something else to entertain you if they are so disappointing, nobody is making you watch and comment on the team.

Having legit criticism is fine because we are all invested in the team but if you can't be a little excited about a 5-0-1 start with a +19 goal differential I don't know what to tell you.

Rangers have more goals in their last 2 games than the Giants have points in their last 2.

this is the crap Brukie does and Tom used to do, they want to make it aggravating to be here, and then I would get all the blame for my tactics of fighting back with them lol

Happy for kakko he’s been playing really well! Hopefully this will get him going offensively but can’t complain about his effort or his defense.

Mika had a great game too. If he scored on that play where He deked through like 3 defenders in the middle of the ice and got loose for a breakaway that would’ve been awesome

That Trouba hit never happens is Gallagher doesn't start sh!t in front of Igor a shift prior. That and the liberties the Habs were taking on Fil...

Kakko is different this year. Not that they want him to take penalties but he has a few the last couple of games. He's involved and completely engaged. He is starting to feel it.
