I do believe Torts treating Couts with downright disrespect has had a bad impact to the team. Not sure if Torts will recover from it unless he keeps Couts playing with TK and Michkov, and gives him 1st PP minutes. Starting the home opener with Couts as a 4th line winger was a slap in his face IMO. I didn't like it.

Bundy said that he can't ignore the optics and he can't argue that he thinks there is an issue w/ the Coach. He even brought up a few times about how Torts was not DB and KJ coaching pick. It was Fletchers... I am sure DB was in agreement with Chuck but Fletch was the GM.

It was his 800th which is just disrespectful. But, this is what he does and it is not anything new. The fact he didn't have the balls to tell Couts before posting the lineup is maddening.

Torts is a ball buster…that’s his Shtick. When things go bad, Torts can go full diick…I think his treatment of Cout’s along with decisions he made on Brink and Sanheim to bench them in front of family and friends created an issue that served no purpose and only created divisions.
I think when you see how fragile this group is, Torts methods may not last as long term as they would with a mentally stronger group.

Oh, what I high bar you have set McAvoy is completely overrated and has been exposed in the past two playoffs. Not saying he doesn't have talent and skill offensively because he surely does. But in his own end, he is a train wreck, especially in the playoffs against good forechecking teams like Florida.
