Put Domi and Matthews back together. They had some chemistry.

Hopefully starting Stolarz Saturday against Boston brings back the team’s skill.

I haven’t seen matthews play this bad in years.

Marner meh, he seems to always start really bad, consistently every year. Needs to change though.

They need to get back to now they played the 1st games, I think they can Saturday however.

I don’t know the cap situation and roster situation but I’d like Rifia to be called up and take Benoits spot.

Holmberg out and one of A Nylander, Steeves in.

We saw McMann last year not get chances while lame depth players were playing and eventually played well and got 1.3M for 2 years.

Time to trust your internal depth for guys who haven’t gotten a chance. Holmberg has been unusable the first 8 games aside from maybe 1 or 2 games where he played good but in those games the whole team was playing well, it wasn’t difficult to look decent.

Love Lorentz but he should not be playing 3rd line LW. Ffs bring up a Marlie, they are 5-0 and Steeves, Nylander are capable. They came out flying down there.

He’ll be in the NHL at some point.

I hope they give him a chance here though.

I’ve been watching a few Marlies games this year, I really do think he’s an NHL player. It’s if he wants to be or not.

what a fun trade

On this day in 1991, the Sabres acquired Pat LaFontaine, Randy Hillier, Randy Wood, and fourth-round drat pick from the Islanders in exchange for Pierre Turgeon, Uwe Krupp, Benoit Hogue, and Dave McLlwain

give me your 2024 Marner equivalent type deal.
i know the cap changes things and kills a lot of deals

maybe something like Marner + for EP +

No thank you.

His brain is worse than Marner.

EF said he looks at social media posts about him and lets it bother him. He’d burst into flames here

If you're going to try to be the king of smart ass one liners you should try to at least be factual about what others have said.

Marner has been a huge part in the PK.

Ffs it shouldn’t be difficult for them to figure out the PP with him.

I’d put him on the 2nd PP unit with Mo. But I wonder if they are afraid to upset him in his contract year.

PP was great before the last 130. Every year too.

I hate to hear the “it’s stale” crap.

I understand why they are not splitting them up because they have to figure out that PP1 at some point.

Sure split them up for a week or 2, get a reset but it’s just pushing the can down the road. By game 1 in April that PP1 needs to be going.

Watering down your PP won’t work in the playoffs.

This. He won’t be here under Berube.

Despite his offensive talent he’s half assed defensively and not physical at all. Even makes his brother look good at those parts of the game lol.

He’s the forward version of Liljegren, talented yes, physical no.

Yeah it was 25% in 11 games before last year.

You aren’t winning a cup watering down your PP. You dig deep and figure out how to make it work.

He has the same build as his brother, he’s over 200 pounds…

For the Marlies so far he has been physically hard on pucks. Which is what berube means by being physical.

I haven’t watched him previously other than pre season and these 5 Marlies games. But I’ve seen commitment, I’ve seen his talent.

I think he could be very successful under berube. I just don’t know when he will get his chance, there’s a lot of forwards.
