Would never happen and even if it did, they'd have to also trade a ransom to Chicago to convince them not to match. - breadbag
Not to mention have the budget to afford it ... but yeh whatever.
Also good to see that they are back to the automatic empty net goal against. I bet most of Bedard's minuses are due to being on the ice in those scenarios. I am not blaming him (although sometimes he might be --- sometimes not).
Um no offense but that first -1 on wasn't on Murph it was one of those 'it happens' situations in hockey. Don't lose the puck in the O zone, and that doesn't happen. It was also about shoulder high when it went by him.
2nd one - ok maybe -but you got both D-men on top of each other, which is a bit disorganised. How you decide one over the other is more responsible for that one -- not sure- as a D man you aren't really going to back your ass up following the guy that moved to the other side of the net. Like as not a pass like Dallas did hits something in front - it did not, and ended up as a backdoor goal.
+/- = not nearly as big of a deal as an overall indicator.

How did that great 2nd line do tonight? Hall and Kurashev waste of space |

They graded out better than TT and Reichel did.

the 2nd line did great. Donato had a goal, Smith and Reichel looked solid. |

Reichel was terrible, had the worst Corsi on the team. Started on Bedard’s line and at the end of the game was sitting on the bench. |

The competition is a little stiffer when you get 1st line minutes… |

Don’t forget about turtle neck. If he’s not playing on the PP or 6 v 5 he’s disinterested, lazy, and looks like an E level beer leaguer. |

I’m not sure why anyone would think that Bedard has an elite shot. - Angotti
Missile. Ottinger didn’t have time to react puck was already in top corner. Eye test says elite shot….. |

I just checked, Vancouver has the #1 picks to offer sheet Bedard when he becomes a restricted free agent in 2026. - LAHawk
Bedard is as good as gone. He can see the team is going nowhere. |

Should be competing for the Cup in year 2 of the rebuild. They would if Stevie Y were GM. |

Can’t be, I was told here it was just an above average shot. |

He can always sub for the guy in the Ozempic commercial who he looks like.
The one with the blue eyed dog, and the people playing the guess the word9s) form the drawing...all the folks in the slo-mo are seriously staring at "Kyle's brother's" drawing ... the entire group's brain trust are looking at a drwing so close to a football with the stitching and elipitical shape a 7 year old could guess it.
As long as Bedard gets feeds like that he is will stay happy; the kids WILL get here and he will feel better.
...and the management has the optimism that Laurent Brossoit and his knee come in and add a guy who can also carry a heavywork load and provide yet another transitional upgrade in the net.

Very premature evaluation on your part. It will take a little more time before that winning culture brought by the 5 ex-Maple Leafs now with the Hawks to result in victories. When it does, the team will soar on the standings. |

Glad to see Levshunov is now getting in to games. KFC has had quite a kicks at the can so it will be interesting to see how the team begins to shape in the next couple years.
In other news, should be an entertaining Bear game today. WSH's pass and run D should provide another favorable matchup for the Bears offense.

I was LR camp for a long time but he has too much JC in him where he only holds non veterans accountable. The way Brodie has played he deserved some time in the sky box. As does turtle neck. Just don’t see how you think you send a message to that room scratching guys who have a lower role on this team and allowing guys who do know better to get away with it?
Remember in November in 2008 in Phoenix when q chained sharp and Kane to the bench right after taking over for savard? That’s what LR has to do.
I mean that 2nd PP having Craig smith and Maroon on it is a fireball offense.
I didn’t expect a cup but I did expect a better start and improvement over last year and right they are projecting to be worse. No way LR survives this if they don’t start winning some games and soon. |

Sounds like Daniels is going to make play without Gordon and brisker. 😳 |
