i don’t mind his game when he plays but he’s hurt so often I forget he’s on the team. Wouldn’t care if he was dealt. |

I agree. I also don't think we need Dewar. Lorentz and him play a similar brand of hockey, but I'd rather have the 6'4 guy than the 5 '10 guy. Maybe it brings different results in the playoffs with bigger heavier players on the bottom lines. |

They don’t have cap issues, they just need to open up 2 roster spots for Hawky and Dewar.

I'm struggling with what to do with Robertson. I don't want to give up on him but I'm near out of patience with him to develop into the offense threat I hoped he could be. McMann and Knies have passed him, Cowan and Minten could too in a year or two. I would hope there's a team out there willing to pay picks for him. With Haktuahpa coming back and getting Benning I think we're set on D. |

Yeah but apparently that’s going to be a while. So they need one forward now. Reaves would be easiest since he’d likely clear waivers |

Initially it's one of Holmberg/Reaves/Robertson for Dewar; I've previously stated my reasons for thinking it'll be Holmberg. That said Berube is giving him every opportunity so we'll see.
It's going to be one of Benning or Myers for Hakanpaa. We'll find out if they got Benning for a reason of if he was just a cap dump for San Jose. I don't know. Right now, if you discount their IR guys, they have 15 forwards, 6 defense and 2 goalies. I'm pretty sure They could have sent one of their young guys down if they wanted to.
Later when Jarnkrok is ready, I figure it'll be one of the same 3 forwards - unless comes back and fails to impress his new coach.

Apparently he's not even on skates yet (someone on here said that yesterday, so I'm trusting their intel over my complete lack of any!) which implies he could be quite a while yet. |

And Jarnkrok when he's back. Benning and Myers make the most sense. |

We don't owe Benning anything in terms of loyalty, and Myers is 6'5".
Just sayin'... |

Here's some sports trivia for you. An MLB season requires the hide of approximately 5000 cows for all the baseballs. Around 1 cow per game. |

One other fun fact:
Tickets used to be controlled by scalpers, and they worked together. And they didn't allow anyone to get out of line.
So nobody - and I mean nobody - would cut their prices just before the game, or even after the game had started. You risked getting shivved by the other scalpers.
There haven't been paper tickets for a few years now - it's all electronic. Scalpers have been replaced by Ticketmaster and other sites. The scalpers are gone.
So season ticket holders control the price they sell at. They'll put their tix up for sale on Ticketmaster days before, at stupidly high prices, thinking that it's just like the good old days, and they can get 2X value on a weeknight, and 3-4X value on a weekend.
And their tickets sit. And sit and sit and sit.
By 3 pm, panic starts to creep in, and they lower.
By 5 pm, they are willing to take pennies on the dollar.
Trust me. - Atomic Wedgie
