Don't forget Murphy has a 10 team no trade list.
He'd take a cut in pay playing in the high tax province of Quebec.. - boilermaker100
I know just passing along a rumor I came across. I m sure there are other teams interested in him. From what I heard also he and his wife just had a baby. So think it would be up to him if wants to be traded. Plus he has never played in the playoffs to chase a cup. There Manu teams that could use a rd physical stay at home defense man. Does he have his faults yea but he imo is solid 4th or 5th defenseman good locker room guy leader good qualities. So time will tell if he stays or gets traded. |

Yeah review sounds pretty much correct but also I think KD wants a couple of dman prospects to get more experience actually development because it is when a kid shows that he is able to replace someone's job so maybe this trade deadline certainly next year's deadline or over the summer |

You can call me Smith
Don't mix up you Smith names
Will Smith is early #1 round SJ pick. I think Eklund from Sweden was their #4 overall. Both playing high TOI but not producing points yet. Ecklund a sophomore in NHL. W Smith and Celebrini of course rookies |

Good road period overall. It was a little shaky in the first 5 minutes, but then things got a lot better. |

That was weird why didn't Mrazek squeeze his legs together? |

Sure didn't look like that was a goal |

They do all that stickhandling and 45 seconds later the puck is at the same spot, but no dangerous shot if any at all
My father used to call it the Sonja Henie shift. |

I'm watching the SJ feed and their PBP guy said he's heard trade rumors involving Murphy.

This felt like a game where one goalie was just one save better than the other. |

Damn, that was fun. 2-3 games back the club started playing connected and with speed thru the neutral zone. They're playing fast and connected. Really nice brand to watch. |

Would’ve been nice to see Hall and Kurashev on the ice at the end of the game. Instead Foligno and Smith were on the ice. Cannot just kick it in when they want to, just not good enough to do that right now. |

You lose games like this from time to time but I think we are tied for last in the league. The power play has not been very good recently. It needs to be tweaked. Lots of skating around the perimeter but not very good shot opportunities. The bottom two lines seem to generate better chances. |

Can we just get our next draft choice early
Even if he keeps playing in junior
Knowing we will have a good forward coming
Better be a forward
Although a really good dnan I could be happy to see here
There are some forwards plus Rinzell not too far away. Hopefully
And can we please hear whether this Harding is worthwhile? |

Just got back from the game.
Not sure if the TV cameras caught it, but Foligno was in Murphy's grill and letting him have it after the turnover that lead to the game winner.
Bertuzzie was better than I expected, but also looked kind of lazy on a couple of shifts.
Some of those long shifts in the offensive zone were a joy to watch in person, and Vlasic's speed on some of those rushes was also impressive.
Taylor Hall's stick is where pucks go to die.
What is Brodie doing in the NHL?

Again, zero points by bedard against the worst team in the nhl, arguably. |

Nice thing about watching two bottom dwellers on a weeknight is that you can get a seat 11 rows up from the glass for $46. The place was half empty. |

The season is young but here is your leading goal scorers: Hischier and Caufield ten apples each
- jhawk59
You're aware, then that "Apples" = assists, not goals, right?
And descent is a verb tense of to descend. . . nothing personal, since I went Apples - I figured someone would pip me on that one too. Think you're looking for: decent. |

Now the Blackhawks are the worst team in the league!
I didn't watch the game,so I'm not sure what 98 looked like.
What he did last year was nothing short of amazing considering the team and his age.
I expected a bit more out of a "generational talent" this year.
Right now behind last year's point pace. Still early, but unless he goes on a tear soon, he probabaly won't even be a ppg player this season. Doesn't bode well for the Blackhawks overall.
