Yes, a hotdog on a hotdog bun is a sandwich. A roll is bread. What else would it be? A hoagie is a sandwich. A hamburger is a sandwich. I had a sausage and egg sandwich for breakfast; sausage patty, egg, cheese, bread. You’ve never had a breakfast sandwich? I think you’re the one anthropomorphizing sausages. - Dkos
I don’t know. This sounds like one of the great debates. I don’t think anyone calls a hot dog a sandwich. |

Just like how you’re unaware of how the rest of the country views people who live in Philly? Thanks though. |

I just did.
On this the holiest of days, National Sandwich Day, and in the spirit of brotherhood I suggest we include the taco as a sandwich too. At least for today. |

When you say boohoo, are you speaking through tears or accusing me of having tears because this conversation sounds really personal on your end. |

So hot dogs, tacos and wraps are considered sandwiches? Are they one or from the same family? |

Its not personal. I feel sorry for you. I get to live in a city that has GREAT food, and you live in Detroit, not knowing what a grilled sausage pepper and onion sandwich tastes like |

Sounds pretty personal to me. You sound pretty upset.
“I feel sorry for you blumpkin! You’ve never lived until you’ve put a sausage between two pieces of bread”

You sandwich something between something else so that you can hold it in your hand and eat it and it’s a sandwich. My wife gets this awful gluten free bread that I’m not sure is even food, but she makes a sandwich with it. |

Not sure if you can consider that a sandwich. It’s more stuffed than sandwiched I think. I’d eat it though. |

If you fold a New York pizza (city with actual culture of food), that’s a sandwich? |
