Gotta take your word for it, didn't get a chance to see any of the game tonight, but as i said before he looks like robotic like KK did for the Blackhawks last year. Probably why he is in the rock.

Dots, Artie turned 19 Oct 28th. He came outa Belarus jrs and outa nowhere dropped into the USHL not knowing the language at 17, puts up 42 in 62 which is crazy good, jumped up to the NCAA from there and as an 18 yr old 35 in 38 and gets taken 2nd overall now a big jump to the AHL and as mentioned turned 19 last week.

That's damn near warp speed. This kid is miles from his ceiling and what kinda player he'll be. Most 18/19 yr old prospects are that way but Lev especially so as he came outa nowhere, knocked down every barrier, passed every test and did so at a young age on a different continent.

Sky is the limit and the floor is very high.

Still think the best way to win is to get Bedard going.
And right now Luke hasn't found the right combo of linemates for him.
I think Chief from barstool is right, put 98 at wing and see what happens.

At this point in his career playing wing would probably unlock a tad more offense but the problem is the Hawks don't even have a 2C, so who would be his centerman on L1?

Is having him at wing or center better in the long run?
- HawkintheD

Good question. My hope is they have a player that's a legit 1 or 2C that could be Berdard's centerman. Is that guy in the system? ...... KD still needs to draft, trade for or sign as a FA a 1 or 2C?

I don't mean it in a bad way, i mean it in a I'm learning something new way. Even so he looks really good thinking while playing the game at the Rock, can't wait for him to get comfortable and just play the game.

Want to get Bedard going, plante (thePP coach guru) has to figure out how to get Bedard the puck where he is dangerous, like other teams with super stats do.

Egven last game the puck was at the right face off by the boards, and Bedard,s ass was against the left boards. Kane in his prime can make that pass, not many others.

Just trying to add context as a guy who was entrenched in jr hockey for a decade, Dots. Simply said Artie is just scratching the surface. ....... Yea man, enjoy the ride watching Artie develop.

The organIzation has a real shot at have an offensively dangerous Dman on every line in Artie, Rinzel and Korchinski.

Like the way your thinking, LA. Scheme up ways to get Bedard in dangerous spots. Probably for the first time ever, and he's always played up a yr or two, he's not scoring at will. ........ The kid is going up against structure he's never seen before as the league has had a yr to adjust to him.

I'll say this about the kid and thought this from 1st shift of the preseason. The kid will never be a puck hound but he is demonstrably showing much more engagement on contested pucks, backchecking and keeping his feet moving than last yr. He's covering much more ice north and south than last yr.

IMO he's not as dangerous offensively as last yr but he's a better hockey player. In that context he's figuring it out.

It's nice to see Reichel gaining some steam in the past however many games. That was a really nice move and play to get up the ice and set up Smith. I do see what fatty is talking about how he kind of roves high, i hope over time he gets a little lower and keeps his stick on the ice to prevent those across ice passes that have been ending up in the back of the net.
- BetweenTheDots

I think he's been excellent. Whatever message he was giving early in the season he's taken it and ran. Time and more reps and i think he could turn out quite good.

Mrazek has been the #1 star pretty much since he became a Hawk. For a guy with an injury history he's been very healthy as a Hawk. ... They better do whatever they can to keep it that way.
- Mr Ricochet

Totally Agree. And the best part is this trade is going to include Rinzel!

Can’t wait to see two of those three next year. If Rinzel signs at the end of his collegiate season, he’ll be at the Rock next year. By the way, I haven’t seen any Murphy bashing on the board lately, maybe he’s not as bad as some think. The guy is not an all star, but he’s a fine 4-5 on a good team, he does his job when healthy and don’t be surprised at the return when he’s eventually traded, in a good way.

Draft someone? '25 draft? Trade our #1 '25 for an established center (not my choice nonetheless an option)

Thinking about posting a bobblehead picture of six current and past Presidential candidates in Icehog uniforms - group photo. Absolutely no comment from myself just an interesting picture

If in bad taste then I won't post. Or ask anyone to post. Will wait and see if you think it would be poor taste to post.

We've all been doing very well lately not posting anything that would be considered political. Let's keep it that way.

- Mr Ricochet

The teams from the prairies don't come south of the border this year. Remember you mentioning Saskatoon though, so I will have to check them out sometime on the CHLtv.

Even with him leading the team in penalties I'm not going to complain about him. He's playing well. Seeing our number 1 defenseman give up inside position on the 3rd goal against vs the Kings is really disappointing.

AJ Spellacy with a goal and an assist today. A point a game this season.

Nick Lardis with a goal in the first today. Over a point a game.

Sacha Boisvert with a goal and 2 assists in 2 games this weekend. A point a game.

Nazar is a point a game player so far for Rockford.
