I'm just throwing crap out there that it's only been what, ten games into the season. The team is not playing well wholistically, other than a few players who seem consistent, Garland and Hughes to be specific. Everyone else has been both good and poor at times.
And I agree 100%, the teams' had a soft schedule so far, if they continue to play like they are they will absolutely get their asses handed to them when playing better teams. Realistically they've only played against three good teams so far this year, the Tampa, Caroline and NJ games, the Florida game the Panthers were missing both Barkov and Tkachuk.
I'm still going to enjoy when they win though, I'm a fan of the team, can't help it. Unfortunately. - Pacificgem
You know I only pick on you because I know you can take it.
Also, I believe you meant holistically |

I appreciate your time and effort that goes into the blogs, just saying. Even though you're a hardcore Liberal. - Pacificgem

I think it could be either...
"The term "wholistic" is sometimes used to emphasize the entirety of something, while "holistic" is more common in academic and medical writing. However, some say that "wholistic" is more inclusive and culturally respectful, especially when relating to Indigenous cultures, practices, and traditions." |

The guy looks motivated this year!!!
“Alex Ovechkin's pace this season:
82 games
— 52 goals
— 104 points
— +60
He's on pace to smash Gretzky's goal record this season.” |

I believe we are all academics here, so it should be written as holistically , but we may need K-man, the English major to confirm. |

You honestly provide nothing positive or substantial to these blogs. It's either tearing down the players, or tearing down the team, or making fun of posters who haven't even engaged with you. Like Makita said, it's just a stream of negativity and criticism.
You levy constant criticism of Petey and want him to play like he used to... but guess what, he doesn't read this stupid (frank)ing site. He's never gonna see or care about what you write. If you hate the player(s) and the team as much as your posting suggests, maybe just stick with the Oilers. Your life would be happier for it. - NewYorkNuck
Thank you. |

Petey will continue to be under the microscope until he gets back to where he should be. Sugar coating his performances under the guise of what I post as 'positive or negative' is a you issue dude. I skip over your 'blog' and most posts...just skip over mine if you can't handle the responses.
And while we are being honest here and on the topic of your 'blog' don't you think it's maybe time that you moved on and let a proper blogger take over? To be quite blunt you provide no more than a few paragraphs of what Michael did and highlites...which anyone can look up on their own. Just some food for thought perhaps.
So in turn the criticism will continue as long as it's deserved and not just Petey lol. I've been a Nucks fan probably a hell of alot longer than you and I certainly don't need the likes of yourself telling me who to cheer for or be critical of. Cheers man. - LordHumungous
Personally I was trying to understand why and what your mindset is regarding this team, every day you can be counted on to try being edgy with your #11.6, or whatever idiotic comment about the team. I honestly was trying in engage you and see if there was any substance upstairs. It is obvious that not only have I noticed how negative you post daily but also others have, so if you plan on being sarcastic and negative you should expect people to call out the negativity, instead of just scrolling by.
Now your comments regarding NYN blogging content and style is out of line, York Newbury stepped up to give this group a fresh page to converse with other fans of the team. Your comment to NYN is of a petulant child being called out for being negative day in day out, and crosses the line. It’s time you moved on to the extremely popular Oilers blog where you thank Sean for his insightful blogs and there it ends.

It is really sad to see Bill move on, I could see the writing on the wall for a couple of years now regarding this site, which is sad because I like the site format better than any other hockey commenting sites out there. |

I will admit that the articles at CA can be interesting but the comment section is a joke, it’s like Lordy on steroids with a daily bombardment of negativity. I tried a few times commenting on the game but it is exhausting and a few posters overrun the site.
HF is just a bunch of forums but lacks substance and articles to read. |

Really I didn’t know that, always wondered why some guys post only 5 unavailable content when I’m thinking What’s unavailable, guess I should go figure out that function.

Too far man. The inverse of this is you aren't forced to read it, yet you do. I appreciate what Yorky has done to keep this shi tshow together for us. It can't be easy and I respect that. Certainly you were raised better than this. This is a man's time and effort. |

I used to post there many years ago but I quit when they banned me for talking about having an Alexander Keith's after the game. What I love about this thread is it's reasonably censored. I'll really miss this group if the site dies. It's always good for some diverse opinions and a few laughs. |

I started out there about 12 years ago, but enjoy the comments here better, most of the time. They definitely had some pretty sensitive people at CA, back then. It is a bit better now. |
