What are your expectations for a player that mostly plays the 3rd and cost $1.35 per?
Career wise he's averaged 0.36ppg. Last year he averaged 0.42ppg in 54 games and he's currently on pace for 19 goals. Even if he finishes with 15 goals and 25pts that's still pretty decent for 28 year old center/winger, no?

Everyone wants Soto, and we all know the Jays are desperate for some sort of positive impact signing.
Until he is wearing a Blue Jays uniform, Im not buying into anything......other than hopefully black friday Jays ticket sales. Hopefully they are $10 again like this time last year.

We are in agreement here.

Players love to come in here and party (there's several weird articles about how the NBA players have a party circuit, one woman coordinates it, and they all like to wear sweaters - I swear) but no one wants to play for a Toronto team.

Not hockey related but food related.

In the food court near my office (actually the one in the CBC building) a new place opened up - Poulet Rouge.

It's a Montreal based 'fast food/food court' one here but it seems like they have actual restaurants as well. They just opened, dude got me with a free sample of the chicken.....I was hooked.

There are 2 options from what I saw on the menu - one of the 4 flavours of grilled chicken on a bed of rice / lettuce etc. and a bunch of sauces and toppings you can put on there or grilled chicken of your flavour choice on top of poutine.

I of course went with the unhealthy choice of chicken on poutine because......it's god dammed poutine! I gotta' say it's pretty effin' good.

Anyone else tried this place?

Have a couple hours to kill today while my wife and daughter attend a school event. There is a nature preserve very near the school that I have been curious about, so I am going to hike part of it today. Got my walking stick, bear mace, and a blunt ready. Gonna go hang out with the trees. Looking for some off-trail spots. Marked trails are for housewives and dog-walkers. LOL.
